Assistant Manager Employee Relations and Strategy (2-Year Contract)
Role Introduction
Reports To: Employee Relations & Strategy Manager
This role is part of a professional team in our Flight Operations Department, which consists of flight crew and ground staff teams, both working to ensure the highest standards of operational efficiency and service. Safety is intrinsic to everything we do.
As an Assistant Manager Employee Relations & Strategy, you will support the Employee Relations & Strategy Managers in fostering and enhancing positive relationships between Flight Crew and the Company.
Key Responsibilities
- Support management with data-driven insights for special projects and assist in reviewing the COS, Handbook, and Policies while managing the associated tracker
- Assist with drafting of policies, procedures and other employment-related documents
- Manage the suite of employment offer letters and related employee loan arrangements
- Project manage stakeholders on back end/downstream handling of new initiatives and special projects
- Ensure the effective execution of projects and maintain compliance through ongoing audits and policy reviews
- Coordinate and provide Flight Crew employment, compensation data and statistics to Flight Operations Management
- Conduct ongoing benchmarking exercises to ensure Flight Crew remuneration and compensation packages remain competitive
- Support management with research and background information for employee relations matters and legal cases proceedings; Support review and updating of ER, Strategy & Analytics TOR/PPM
- Answer enquiries from the crew regarding contracts and policies
- Manage specific duties and projects as required by the Head of Employee Relations, Strategy & Analytics and Employee Relations & Strategy Managers
Requirements
- University degree in Business or tertiary education preferably in HR or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a HR/ER function.
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
- Good communications and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS office applications.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
