Procurement Centre of Excellence Manager – Source-to-Pay GPO
Role Introduction
Reports to: Head of Procurement – Centre of Excellence
The role is part of a global team in our Procurement and Aircraft Trading (APD) department who are responsible for establishing and promoting best practices, driving standardization, and identifying areas of continuous improvement of the source-to-pay (S2P) process across the procurement function.
As the Procurement Centre of Excellence Manager – Source-to-Pay GPO, you will drive the transformation and support our procurement function towards best-in-class performance. You will be identifying process gaps, driving standardization, delivering continuous improvement, and shaping strategies that enhance governance and compliance. This role plays a key part in advancing procurement maturity and supporting the organization’s goals across the Source-to-Pay lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Head of Procurement Excellence in delivering best-in-class capabilities and optimize the end-to-end procurement process.
- Establish, maintain and harmonize Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes and procedures applied across the organization to ensure efficient workflows and alignment across headquarter and outports.
- Develop and refine procurement policies that support the company’s evolving goals.
- Identify and implement initiatives to improve procurement processes, governance, and compliance frameworks that enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the S2P process; and standardize and automate procurement processes, templates, and best practices across the organization.
- Drive, support and monitor global implementation of procurement best practices, including training programs, to ensure timely rollout and realize benefits the initiative should bring.
- Support change management and training efforts related to procurement process enhancements.
- Manage the governance and continuous improvement of vendor management processes, including onboarding, segmentation, performance tracking, and risk mitigation.
- Manage the development and execution of supplier scorecards, and performance reviews.
- Enable knowledge sharing and capability building within the procurement function to uphold the highest standards of procurement excellence.
- Represent Procurement on company-wide projects and cross-functional initiatives, ensuring alignment and compliance
Requirements
- Degree holders in Business Administration, Procurement, or a related discipline, with professional certifications such as CIPS are advantageous.
- 8+ years of experience in implementing and managing procurement transformation and process improvements related to Source-to-Contract, Procure-to-Pay and/or global business services
- At least 3+ years of leadership experience, including building and mentoring high-performing teams. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to drive strategic initiatives and process improvements.
- Deep knowledge and understanding of procurement principles, governance, compliance, risk management and best practice through the Source to Pay cycle. Knowledge of how to measure process performance by setting appropriate KPIs.
- Great interpersonal skills and ability to demonstrate capability to influence diverse stakeholders to foster collaborations and drive continuous improvement. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Analytical with great attention to detail and an ability to troubleshoot complex problems, identify process issues and ensure accuracy and compliance to procurement processes
- Self-starter with a ‘can-do’ attitude, attention to detail, and ability to drive results independently.
- Demonstrate good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks efficiently
- Proficiency of procurement technologies (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle,) and data visualization tools is a plus
- High ethical standards and integrity in all procurement activities.
