Role Introduction

Reports To: Insurance Partnerships Manager

The Customer, Relationships & Retail team looks after Cathay’s loyalty programme and interact with customers and members beyond their journeys and engage with them every day in different pillars, including payment, shopping, holidays, insurance-wellness and dining.

The Assistant Manager Insurance Partnerships sits under the Insurance partnership team mainly responsible for playing a critical role in driving the success of Cathay’s insurance pillar in CRR. You will be responsible for developing partnerships, managing day-to-day operations, achieving sales targets, and fostering collaboration across internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of the overall vision and strategy for the
    insurance pillar
  • Oversee day-to-day operations related to insurance partnerships & product sales activities
  • Manage & support the end-to-end insurance partnership development process, including prospecting, pitching, ,negotiation, onboarding, contracts, and launch
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing campaigns & CRM initiatives aimed at driving sales target and business growth
  • Lead discussions with internal and external stakeholders to achieve desired business outcomes
  • Build and maintain good working relationships with insurance partners and internal stakeholders to foster collaboration and mutual success
  • Manage contract review and partner onboarding processes, ensuring necessary approvals are obtained from all stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to drive enhancements that optimize customer experience and sales processes.
  • Ensure all operations and processes align with internal guidelines and regulatory compliance
  • Conduct market research, monitor industry trends, and provide insights into the insurance market landscape

Requirements

  • A degree holder with experience in Business, Marketing, Finance or related fields
  • Minimum of 5 years of working experience in Insurance, Finance, Marketing, Operations, or B2B partnerships
  • IIQE Qualification & Prior experience in the insurance industry is a plus
  • Proactive, creative, and business-minded team player with the ability to work independently and solve problems effectively
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge or experience in loyalty programs, database marketing, or working in an agile/scrum environment is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
