Role Introduction

  • Generate actionable analytics and insights and extend it as an integral component of major business change and investment programmes, including flight operations, services deliveries, customer & loyalty management as well as sales management
  • Use key tools of analytics and data science to come up with solution and algorithm with measurable impact and appropriate verification plans
  • Evaluate model performance and iterate to optimize
  • Evaluate new capabilities in advancing the analytical power of the company

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced analytics support Customer life cycle management, campaign optimization and personalization, and other CRM related activities
  • Prototyping advance analytics and machine learning solutions for business partners
  • Work with key stakeholders and partners to implement solution
  • Make intelligent approximations to the model if required to make it scalable and operatable
  • Partner with IT in bringing machine learning models in day-to-day use
  • Evaluate machine learning algorithm and models, and provide technical recommendations to business units for decision making

E&A Responsibility

  • Emergency and Accident and Crisis Response responsibilities as required

Requirements

Academic qualifications

  • Bachelor/Master degree (or equivalent education qualifications) in Mathematics, Computer Science, Econometrics, Operation Research, Psychology or related disciplines

Knowledge, skills, training and experience

  • Minimal 3 years’ work experience in data processing and analysis, preferably CRM related
  • Minimal 1 years’ work experience in machine learning model development
  • Experience in Python & Spark is a must
  • Experience in ASW cloud stack is highly preferred
  • Experience in data visualization tools
  • Good analytical skills, experience in recommending appropriate algorithm and methodology for problem-solving and decision making, leveraging both logic and creativity
  • Experience in visualisation and wrangling tools such as QlikSense and Alteryx an advantage
  • Sound communication & influence skills to work with business partners of different levels and background. Be able to articulate ideas verbally and in written forms
  • Able to keep track of latest analytics technology and concepts, trends of platform & tools
  • Strong in managing time and multiple projects with a continuous improvement mindset
