Sales Support Consultant (m/w/d)

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Account Managers in sales strategy (Channel Distribution) in their area of responsibility
  • Serve as internal & external point of contact for all customer support matters
  • Advise / review fares for clients (e.g., travel agencies, companies) and check loading in GDS (Global Distribution System) is correct
  • Manage and expand our customer base (SME / Business Plus), including sales support
  • Work closely with our central customer care service center in Krakow (CCD), with our Business Insights Analysts (Internal Pricing Team) and with our Fare Loading Department (MSC Mumbai Service Center)
  • Provide regular reports and updates between Account Managers and the CCD service center
  • Create (ad hoc) analyses and reports, e.g., on revenue accounting for agents/travel agencies
  • Deliver internal & external training materials
  • Assist Account Managers with fare increases (Corporate Fares)
  • Monitor regional B2B site, Cathay Agents in German
  • Maintain the SFA (Sales Force Automation) system in Salesforce
  • Create B2B communication tools such as FAQs, flyers, presentations, etc.
  • Review complaints (ADMs – Agent Debit Memos) for incorrect bookings or refunds
  • Handle non-commercial tickets
  • Request tickets for senior management for flights with SWISS
  • Collaborate closely with IOM (International Organization for Migration) and MSC when booking flights for refugees
  • Any other reasonable task as requested

Requirements

  • At least 3–4 years of experience in sales support/account management or in sales in general
  • Experience in the travel industry, e.g., travel agencies, airlines, etc.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to derive actionable insights from data
  • Excellent GDS knowledge
  • German mother tongue, fluent in English; French desired, and any additional language is a plus
  • Highly organized, structured, and able to work independently
  • A team player who stays calm under pressure and thinks outside the box
  • Enjoys creative tasks and remains flexible for the challenges the world presents
  • Willingness to travel within Europe for team meetings/events
