UX Researcher
Role Introduction
Reports To: Head of Design
This role is part of our Digital Experience Department (DEX), which is dedicated to providing our customers with exceptional digital experiences that are seamlessly integrated into our brand.
As the UX Researcher, you will conduct research to gather and analyse user data and provide insights to inform the design and development of our products.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute research studies: Assist in planning and conducting research studies, including user interviews, surveys, and usability tests
- Collect and organize research data: Gather user feedback through various methods and ensure data is accurately recorded and stored
- Analyze research data under guidance: Work with senior researchers to analyze data and identify key findings and trends
- Assist in creating research reports and presentations: Help prepare clear and concise reports and presentations that summarize research findings
- Participate in user testing sessions: Facilitate or observe user testing sessions and record observations and user feedback
- Collaborate with team members to implement research insights: Work with product managers, designers, and engineers to ensure research findings are integrated into product development
- Maintain research documentation: Keep thorough records of research activities, methodologies, and findings
- Contribute to the development of research tools and processes: Assist in creating and refining research tools and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness
Requirements
- 4-6+ years of experience in UX research, with a portfolio demonstrating experience leading and executing research projects
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, or a related field
- Proficiency in basic research methodologies, including qualitative and quantitative methods: Knowledge of common research techniques and tools
- Experience with usability testing tools, survey platforms, and data analysis software: Proficient in leveraging various tools to conduct and analyze research efficiently
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills: Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights · Ability to assist in creating research reports and presentations: Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills: Ability to work effectively with team members and stakeholders
- Creative problem-solving abilities: Ability to think innovatively and address user challenges
- Understanding of design principles and user-centered design processes: Basic knowledge of design thinking and its application in product development
- Flexibility and adaptability: Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
- Proficiency in using research tools such as Qualtrics, Quantum Metrics, User Testing, and facilitate workshop
- Familiarity with design framework and design thinking concepts
- Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate research rationale
