Role Introduction

Reports To: Marketing Manager

The Assistant Marketing Manager sits under the Lifestyle Marketing team in our Brand, Insights and Marketing Communications Department, is accountable for producing and delivering world class marketing solutions for the Cathay lifestyle programme and the partners. You will be responsible for conceptualising & delivering marketing activity across all Cathay and Asia Miles’ touchpoints as well as partner channels. You will also play major role and assist manager in formulating and implementing marketing plans, devising campaign and communication mix to grow customer lifetime value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the strategic activities of partnership team through integrated communications through proactive engagement of partnership team to understand business opportunities and provide marketing support
  • Work with partnership team to identify target segments and tailor communication channels to suit
  • Lead advertising and media agency to develop and implement integrated communications campaigns to drive website traffic and sales conversion, and also work with media agency to optimize digital media
  • Coordinate with partnership team and other business units to ensure various customer touch-points, especially digital touch points, are ready to capture the
    increased website traffic as a result of the marketing campaigns; and coordinate with partnership team and other business units for the production and delivering of campaign related contents over various in-house communications channels, especially digital channels. E.g. eDMs, Whatsapp image, trade template, etc.
  • Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of campaigns
  • Promote product and service awareness in Hong Kong and promote new partnership launch
  • Work with various business units to identify key message and produce communication brief for new partnership launch communications
  • Lead advertising and media agency to develop creative and launch campaign to raise awareness of new partnership in Hong Kong
  • Develop and implement mileage sales related campaigns
  • Work with relevant BUs and International team to produce communication
    brief to facilitate the needs; and lead advertising and media agency to develop creative assets that blend with strategic member segment insights; and support the manager in developing the marketing strategy and planning

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration or related disciplines
  • Minimum of 5 years of Marketing experience, preferably with a partnership focus. Digital marketing/eCommerce/media background would be advantageous.
  • Integrated communications planning, project management and campaign execution skills
  • Good stakeholder management, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Excellent Chinese and English writing and editorial skills. Native in Cantonese, fluent in English
  • Attention to details is highly preferred
  • High degree of internet savvy, with a curiosity and enthusiasm for digital and media trends
  • Good analytical skills – must be able to assemble and interpret data, create executive
