Strategic Transformation Manager
Role Introduction
Reports to: Head of Transformation
The role is part of our Group Opportunities and Risks (GOR) department, a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team with a vision to future-proof the business by embracing a forward-looking mindset. Our goal is to successfully execute business strategies, pursue new opportunities, and effectively manage our biggest risks.
As the Strategic Transformation Manager, you will have a unique opportunity to support that vision by helping the business solve some of its most complex challenges, transform its ways of working, and assist senior leaders in executing our biggest decisions and initiatives in pursuit of new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior management, including Directors and functional leaders, to assess the emerging business challenges, identify growth opportunities and strategic improvements. Engage key stakeholders to define and drive the most impactful improvement initiatives
- Design, develop and execute a strategic group-wide initiative to deploy a continuous improvement vision for the business
- Influence senior stakeholders across the business to provide advice on change leadership and embed the continuous improvement roadmap and promote a culture of business excellence
- Benchmark industrial trends and practices to continuously improve the transformation roadmap and our practices to foster continuous improvement
- Partner with senior executives and their teams in the execution of key strategic initiatives and opportunities that need to be prioritized to achieve a long-term business vision
- Provide senior leaders with expert advice on the execution of major decisions, strategies and transformation initiatives
- Support cross functional teams with activities such as problem or opportunity definition, workshop facilitation, data analysis, and research to identify trends, opportunities and threats
- Partner with business units to identify and evaluate new opportunities and drive innovation by staying abreast of industry trends and leading practices
- Support the senior management with robust methodologies, framework and best practices to navigate uncertainty
- Leverage emerging technologies (e.g. RPA, AI etc.) enhance efficiency and unlock new business opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in any discipline
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in group strategy, businessdevelopment, market research, or business transformation in complex environments; Consulting experience is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguous challenges, translate data into insights and business opportunities, and support senior management in high-stakes decision-making
- Exceptional communication, influence, and relationship-building skills, with experience engaging senior teams, executives and cross-functional leaders
- Expertise in driving organisational change, transformation, and process innovation in conjunction with other practices and emerging technologies (e.g. AI, RPA)
- Thrives in fast-paced, high-pressure environments, with a track record of delivering measurable impact at scale
- Proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis tools preferred
- Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (or Green Belt with proven large-scale project success) will be a plus
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin is an advantage
