CCS Change Analyst (2 years contract)
Role Introduction
Reports to: Business Project Manager
The Integrated Operations Centre (IOC) works round the clock to support our flight crew and ground employees in unexpected situations. We are the first point of contact in an emergency, and we help Flight Operations exercise operational control. The mission of IOC is to balance priorities of all the frontline operational sections, maintain schedule regularity and act in a safe, legal and cost-effective manner to recover the schedule after disruption.
As the Change Analyst, you will support and drive the change management activities associated with this project. Change Analyst will work closely with the Business Readiness Manager and cross functional teams to analyse change impacts, support transition strategies and ensure smooth adoption of the new system with minimal disruption to the operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Define the current state by analysing business workflows, technology processes, and the Standard Operating Procedures.
- Lead the Business Process Workshops, working with cross functional teams to document the as-is and to-be business processes and document the pain points and opportunities.
- Create and maintain a Change Impact Assessment; Lead the Change Impact Assessment workshops to align the change impacts with the end users and create a intervention plan.
- Distinguish and document change types (e.g. process, behavioural, system,
organisational) to inform targeted readiness actions. Create summary decks as required to present to various audiences (team and management); Translate technical and business process changes into clear, actionable insights for operational stakeholders (comparing As-Is vs. To-Be processes, identifying deltas and mitigation strategies). - Contribute to the development of change strategy and drive the development of Change Plans to ensure end user adoption.
- Create and maintain Stakeholder Engagement Plan based on the stakeholder analysis; Create and maintain communications plans; Work closely with Communications to ensure message alignment, tone, and relevance for each audience group.
- Engage directly with frontline, operational, and senior leadership teams to socialize key changes and drive awareness.
- Design end user training strategy based on change impacts and readiness levels; Develop training needs analysis and training plan, coordinate all training activities.
- Create change readiness assessments and partner with stakeholders to understand readiness, highlight risks and mitigation plans and support the cutover communications.
- Partner closely with the project team to integrate change deliverables into overall project plans and track progress against change milestones.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of change management or business analysis experience in large- scale systems implementation within operationally complex environments
- Strong experience in conducting gap analysis between current (“as-is”) and future (“to-be”) processes, identifying change impacts, and proposing mitigation strategies
- Prior experience documenting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), business workflows, and technology processes. Skilled in creating and defining use cases, and translating them into deliverables such as sequence diagrams
- Experience developing and executing change management deliverables such as Communication Plans, Training Plans, and Stakeholder Engagement strategies
- Able to coordinate release deployment activities including readiness checkpoints, go-live planning, and hyper care support
- Experience supporting creation and validation of end-user training materials, and user guides
- Hands-on involvement in business readiness activities — including stakeholder briefings, dry runs, and tracking adoption metrics
- Ability to engage cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders across operational and technical domain
- Background in aviation, operations, or other mission-critical industries preferred STEM or related technical academic background is an asset. Experience in Big4 consulting firm is an advantage.
- Understanding of organisational change frameworks and ability to tailor approach based on change type and impact
