Role Introduction

Reports to: Head of Transformation Projects

This role is part of our Engineering Department who are focused on reassurance, keeping our people and our customer’s safe, ensuring that in every aspect of our operation. we have industry leading performance and that our various fleet programmes are delivering to plan, budget and specification

In this role, you will be responsible for deliver a correct level of access to Engineering IT systems; Ultramain, Airbus and Boeing portals and that these systems are correctly configured, administered and performing, to enable Engineering to deliver operational excellence

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for :

  • Managing the team to deliver Ultramain system availability for continued operation of the fleets
  • Supporting CX IT department in business triage of incident reports and new business requirements
  • Prioritising vendor Work Orders and coordinate with Business Units, IT and vendor to resolve the system errors
  • Ensuring corrective actions are optimised among Business Units and are beneficial from the overall company’s perspective
  • Evaluating and prioritising Business Process Enhancement projects and coordinate across Engineering
  • Defining and implementing training requirements for Ultramain system for users in particular during the introduction of new modules i.e. Ultramain V9
  • Managing and coordinating workload and manpower requirements across section and provide technical/ procedural guidance to members of the team.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years' experience in aircraft engineering, with sound business and functional knowledge in Ultramain and/or other Engineering systems
  • Degree holder, preferably in Engineering, Aerospace or Computer Science disciplines
  • Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, collaboration and communications skills with strong influencing capabilities
  • Self-initiative, able to work independently on tasks. Suggest and make improvements to processes
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with high level of self-motivation, good time management and work prioritisation
  • Strong communication skills, able to cooperate with internal and external partners
