Taxation Accountant – Corporate

Role Introduction

Reports to: Taxation Service Managers

Join the Corporate Tax Team and support the Group’s tax compliance, advisory and transfer pricing matters; provide assistance to different BUs and support business development / changes for the group.
Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare / review corporate tax and indirect tax compliance in Hong Kong and other countries
  • Handle transfer pricing documentation preparation and coordination
  • Assist in regular tax provision, budgeting, and forecast exercises
  • Assist in day-to-day corporate tax advice and handling tax investigations/audits
  • Perform research on tax issues and legislative changes in Hong Kong and foreign tax laws 
  • Support tax planning and ad-hoc projects (if needed)
  • Work closely with country and regional teams, other departments and group companies 
  • Handle administrative tasks – such as arranging tax payments, settlement of invoices and routine filing

Qualifications / Experience

  • University Graduate in Business/Economics/Accounting/IT or related disciplines
  • Qualified accountant in (CPA or equivalent)
  • At least 3 years’ tax / transfer pricing experience in an accounting firm or multinational organization
  • Experience in transfer pricing and/or overseas taxation is a plus
  • Strong skills in MS Office applications, especially in Excel 
  • Experience in using SAP is advantageous
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Cantonese/Chinese
