Reports to: Cabin Crew Manager


The job holder will form a ‘core team’ for the Team Office in supporting our cabin crew community in performance and development, relationship management and management support. He/ she is responsible for better continuous performance follow-up in order to increase efficiency and effectiveness of Team Office functions and will work with Cabin Crew Manager  in supporting the Company’s strategy by following up on a wide range of reported incidents in relation to cabin crew performance or development  during their course of employment and facilitating appropriate follow up. He/ she is responsible for increasing the efficiency of administration work that supports the data of performance, development and engagement of cabin crew.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with Cabin Crew Manager in the area of cabin crew performance and development management. Be the source of support and guidance for PDE/PDA in the changing business and operational environment
  • Assist Cabin Crew Manager to assess cabin crew competency and potential for cabin crew passing probation and contract renewal. Reinforce and support cabin crew for continuous improvement in their overall performance
  • Monitor the cabin crew performance appraisal process and its effectiveness
  • Follow up on performance cases, ensure thorough investigation and due process are followed through with proper documentation. Manage cases in compliance with the relevant policies, standards and legislation requirements
  • Responsible for counselling and communicate disciplinary decisions to cabin crew to reinforce the required standard of performance
  • Assist in planning and organising activities in support of relationship and performance management of cabin crew. Support cabin crew policy review and implementation
  • Work with Cabin Crew Management to design and conduct internal development programs and training as appropriate for PDE/PDA/cabin crew
  • Assist Cabin Crew Manager to ensure PDE are skilled in setting performance standards and providing constructive feedback and coaching sessions
  • Perform data analysis relating to cabin crew performance and provide insights to management for implementation of measures to enhance cabin crew overall performance, development and crew engagement

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years relevant work experience in airline industry
  • Tertiary education
  • Familiar with Cabin crew operational environment and culture
  • Excellent teamwork, good self-motivation and ability to challenge status quo and implement change
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with high standard of written and spoken English
  • Computer literacy e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, MS Word
  • Good analytical, planning and organizational skills and ability to work independently and manage stress
