Learning Specialist (24-months contract)

Location: Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China 

 Department: The Learning Academy

Reports to: Assistant Learning Manager – Customer Experience, Inflight

The Learning Specialist will deliver service and operational training for all categories of cabin crew.  The position will also be responsible for assisting in the design, development and delivery of cabin crew training courses and e-learning modules, trainee performance management, the communication of company messages, maintenance and upkeep of learning material.         

Key responsibilities and tasks

  • Conduct service and soft skills training with adherence to service standards, operational and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor and assess cabin crew training performance
  • Assist in the design and updating of training materials including e-modules
  • Provide feedback and coaching to trainees
  • Perform administrative duties (e.g. training reports, records)
  • Classroom or mock-up preparation and housekeeping for training
  • Assist in promoting cabin safety and service related concepts and best practices to the cabin crew community
  • Attend cross section/departmental meetings  as and when required
  • Participate in training related projects as and when required

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in customer service, hospitality and/or cabin crew experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both written and spoken English
  • Good presentation skills and good working knowledge of computer skills with MS Office applications
  • A quick learner , organised and able to work effectively and professionally  under time pressure with strong desire to help others to succeed
  • Open-minded and adaptive to change
  • May be required to work on weekends or Public Holidays
