Following the footsteps of Cathay Pacific’s innovative spirit, the Cathay Pacific IT Internship Programme is an inspiring opportunity looking to find, and importantly, nurture local talent into the pillars of future aviation. About the Programme

The Cathay Pacific IT Internship Programme offers students an exciting and unique opportunity to develop their professional skills with valuable hands-on, real-time experience. As an IT Intern at Cathay Pacific, you're more than a student — you're a member of our dynamic IT team.

 

During the eight-week programme, you will join one of our IT projects where you will learn from our IT and business experts via on-the-job training and shadowing. Not only will you receive on-going opportunities to network and interact with managers and collaborate with IT specialists, you will also gain practical hands-on work experience – in an ever-changing aviation environment with the latest technologies.

 

Job Requirements

  • Non-final year university student in IT or any related disciplines
  • Enthusiastic about exploring a career in aviation and technology
  • Open minded, innovative and a quick learner
  • Knowledge in IT risk & security, cloud computing or web/ mobile design/ development is an advantage
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English
  • Right of abode in Hong Kong
