Global Sales Insight Executive (26-mth contract)

Reports to: Assistant Manager Global Sales Insight
Department: Sales and Distribution (SND)

Purpose

The job holder will be responsible for managing and mastering a range of market intelligence tools to support decision making and revenue generation. This role will also be heavily involved in supporting the data migration and dashboard development project. He/She will work closely with Global Sales teams and the HKG/GBA Business Development & Corporate Sales teams to enable their decision making & revenue generation.

Key responsibilities and tasks

  • Build data model in the Alteryx platform and develop dashboard in QlikSense
  • Prepare documentation and user manual to explain the data warehouse processes and workflows
  • Liaise with different internal departments to ensure revenue data integrity and accuracy
  • Analyse data to identify insights and opportunities
  • Conduct segmentation and agency analysis regularly to identify and highlight trends 
  • Work with stakeholders to improve overall usage of the managed tools such as DDS, MIDT and PRISM
  • Handle administrative tasks related to the aforementioned managed tools
  • Support business intelligence projects and adhoc studies

Qualifications / Experience

  • University degree (preferably in related disciplines) with minimum 2 years' working experience
  • Results-driven individual with proven analytical skills and commercial acumen
  • Knowledge and experience in one or more of the airline data tools such as DDS, MIDT, and PRISM
  • Strong command of analytical tools e.g. Excel, Access, Alteryx
  • Hands-on experience in visualization tools such as QlikView and QlikSense
  • Database experience and proficiency in SQL and/or Power BI is an advantage
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in commercial aviation and/or revenue management is an advantage
