Role Introduction

Reports To: Digital Experience AM -  Shopping & Wellness

This role will be responsible for helping to develop and maintain the Lifestyle related features and functions on Cathay Pacific Website and Mobile APP. The position will involve a variety of activities including product development, performance, content management and customer support. Using data and insights, along with inspiration from the latest technologies and trends, you will help build rich experiences that customers love alongside helping to drive an exciting new vision and roadmap for the Lifestyle pillars.

Key Responsibilities

The Digital Experience Executive will work closely together with other Lifestyle team members to support a wide range of activities, including: 

  • Researching ideas and trends to inspire development of the end to end digital experience of all lifestyle related functions and features on digital channels, touchpoints including but not exclusive to websites, mobile APP, social media 
  • Provide guidance and formulate requests from the business by understanding their objectives, opportunities and problems around lifestyle related features 
  • Partnering closely with the Marketing Department on project implementation and supporting marketing communications 
  • Driving a strong focus around quality; testing new lifestyle features and with consideration for a wide range of scenarios and edge-cases 
  • Managing lifestyle content through an enterprise content management system for both web and APP 
  • Analysing lifestyle features’ performance, helping to test hypotheses and uncover insights that support continuous product improvement. 
  • Analysing customer feedback, working with IT, customer support teams and other business units to provide innovative new ideas to solutions. 
Requirements

  • University degree preferably in Information Systems, Information Technology, Business or related discipline. 
  • Minimum 2 year’s relevant experience in project coordination and digital product development.  
  • Polished communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese 
  • Basic understanding of core UX/UI design principles. 
  • Basic understanding of Agile development methodology. 
  • Experience liaising between business and technical teams. 
  • Ability to interpret and analyse data, generating insights and trends to support decision making. 
  • A love for building quality software that delights customers & addresses customer needs.
  • Passionate about new technology, innovation and everyday lifestyle. 

Advantageous 

  • Industry certifications such as SAFe, CSPO, or PSPO are highly desirable. 
  • Knowledge in digital analytics technologies such as Adobe Analytics, tag management systems  
  • Good understanding of Web Accessibility and World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) standards 
  • Understanding of social networks (e.g. Facebook, Line, Wechat)
