Role Introduction

Reports To: Assistant Manager Digital Experience – Content

We are looking for an energetic team player with demonstrated experience in content management on web to join our team and help Cathay to deliver on our ambitious goal of becoming one of the world’s great service brands, known for great digital experiences.

In this role you will be responsible for managing content and building pages for our website in our Content Management System (CMS) - Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). This position will also work closely with Web team and developers to provide requirements for new website features and components in support of the design. The incumbent must monitor website content quality and provide advice to content authors to ensure website content meet the standards and customers’ experience across the website is aligned.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage content update and creation to ensure updated information in our website
  • Administer content management system (Adobe Experience Manager) to maintain and recommend updates to existing and new templates and components within the CMS with Web team and developers.
  • Monitor and conduct regular audit to ensure site health with accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Recommend and share best practices of content management and ensure proper usage of CMS by other content publishers
  • Apply Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices to streamline published content to increases organic discovery & high-quality website traffic
  • Support content update during service disruptions
  • Support testing and roll-out of website enhancements
  • Provide ad-hoc support to CMS and AEM usage matters
Requirements

  • 3+ years of work experience with an university degree in Business, Computer Science or related subjects
  • Proven experience in using content management system (AEM) to manage website with multiple locales
  • Knowledge of content management concepts.
  • Understanding of the best practices and standards of website development and maintenance, SEO strategies.
  • Knowledge of user experience, HTML and JavaScript would be advantageous
  • Experience in JIRA and Confluence would be advantageous
  • Analytical skills using Adobe Analytics to analyse webpage performance and page views is a plus
