Change Analyst (2-year Contract)

Department: Flight Operations (FOP)

The Crew Management Programme is currently in the implementation phase of the Jeppesen Crew Pairing (JCP) stage, and will be proceeding to Jeppesen Crew Rostering (JCR) implementation from Q4 2018. The programme currently has one Change Analyst working full-time as part of the Change Management team. The changes resulting from the implementation of JCR will impact over 16,000 stakeholders. These stakeholders fall largely into two groups – FOP and ISD. The phases of development by Jeppesen will be based on the requirements of each of these groups, and the CMP team structure will mirror this. As such there is a need for two Change Analysts to join the CMP team – one to analyse the changes that will impact the FOP community, and one to analyse those changes that will impact ISD stakeholders.

Each Change Analyst will work closely with the BPR team to identify (for either FOP or ISD):

  • The type of each change being implemented (e.g. process-related, technical, behavioral, organisational etc.)
  • Who is impacted by the change (individuals, specific groups etc.)
  • The timing of the change (e.g. at go-live, after go-live, during BAU etc.)
  • The nature of the change (i.e. it is positive, negative or neutral?)
  • Required actions (include in Training content, issue a communication etc.)

Each Change Analyst will maintain a Change Impact Assessment document based on the content above. They will work closely with other members of the Change Management team to explain the changes documented in the CIA and to help develop solutions to meet both Communications and Training requirements. Updates to the CIA may also be presented to the relevant managers within FOP and ISD prior to the development of more widespread communications or training. This too will be part of the role of the Change Analyst

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse JCR Changes
  • Work with BPR to understand and analyse each change that impacts FOP/ISD

Document JCR Changes

  • Create and maintain a Change Impact Assessment for FOP/ISD
  • Create summary decks as required to present to various audiences (team and management)

Contribute to the CM Team deliverables 

  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise to the CM team to facilitate effective and timely Communications and Training deliverables
  • Review communications and training content for accuracy

Communicate JCR Changes

  • Present CIA content to management within FOP/ISD
  • Present changes internally to other members of the Change Management team
  • Contribute as required to the delivery of PBS Corners for ISD or FOP equivalent.

Requirements

  • Change Analysis experience gained through working as part of a Change Team
  • Airline knowledge and experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Good communication skills - both verbal and written
  • Demonstrated ability to work closely with senior managers/staff
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in the use of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
