Role Introduction

Reports To: Cargo Standard, Policy and Operations Support Manager

Coordinate the setup of a new port, change of supplier, and re-location of the airport. Provide ad-hoc on-site support to the port.  Manage daily in/out-going correspondence of CGO#CSD account. Initial investigation for the irregularity cases and help the stations for an improvement action plan.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage operations performance standards by identifying, investigating irregularities, and implementing corrective remedial solutions.
• Response to outport enquiries addressed to the Operations Support email address.
• Information & document upload to The Hub, CGO BP Site
• Provide ad-hoc on-site support to stations system-wide which includes the implementation of and support to the activities related to set up of new port, change of supplier, and office re-location.
• Conduct pre-assessment for new port and change of supplier.
• Provide ground support for cargo charter and/or wet lease operation.
• Coordinate with parties involved in the application of Munitions of War (MUW) shipment and arrangement of shipment attendant on board.
• Apply the freighter seat for staff, grooms, and cargo attendants on a freighter.
• Maintain the personal data in U.S. APIS (TSA) system.
• Maintain Port information of CX Cargo Website.

Global Logistics System (HK) Co. Ltd (GLSHK)

Enquiries, USER ID issues for all Ezy- systems in the CX network.

Airport Service Delivery (ASD)

Add, change or delete the outport SITA address for PAX flight‘s CPM, LDM, UCM ….etc. messages.

Learning Academy (TLA)

Training arrangement for new port setup, routine system USER ID administration.

Cargo Operation Centre (COC)

Operational issue coordination, e.g. port request for cargo embargo, special cargo enquiries such as HEA, AVI, DG, etc.

Cargo Revenue Management (CRM)

Hong Kong Cargo Sales (HKS)

Flight Operations (FOP)

Seeking the approval for freighter travel

Engineering Department (ENG)

 

Requirements

Education qualifications
• Tertiary education qualifications.
                             
Experiences          
• Minimum 5 years’ air cargo operational experience.

Job-related knowledge
• Sound knowledge of special cargo, dangerous goods, and warehouse handling.

Skills and language requirements
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with structured and disciplined thought processes.
• Strong planning and organizing skills with the ability to independently manage and prioritize multiple tasks within defined time constraints.
• Good communication and interpersonal with the ability to interact with people at all levels and in a multi-cultural working environment.
• Good PC knowledge in MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
• A good team player with self-initiative and the ability to work independently.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Cantonese.
