Cargo Marketing and Sales Executive

Reports to: AM Cargo Marketing

Indirectly reports to:  Head of Cargo Global Partnerships

Purpose

To support the marketing communications, customer engagement events, loyalty program to implement our cargo marketing strategies to strengthen the brand awareness and build customer loyalty in order to deliver on our commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Marketing Communications

    • Work with agency partners in managing our digital communication platform Cargo Clan and monthly e-News to promote our network, products and services as well as to provide our latest development and industry news to subscribed agents and customers worldwide. The job includes content line-up and proof reading to ensure the eNews, story and photos are delivered in good quality and timely manner.

    • Monitor the readership, subscription number, click rate of the digital platform and responsible for distribution of monthly eNews.

    • Assist the cargo marketing team in managing and promoting the branding of Cathay Pacific cargo and special products.

    • Support the sales team in developing and producing marketing material to differentiate our brand, product and services, such as collaterals and flyers, photo and video library, gift and promotional items, power point presentation and etc.  

    • Update press and trade release about Cathay Pacific Cargo.

  • Customer engagement and loyalty program

    • Support and assist in our customer engagement events. 

    • Manage the annual renewal of our loyalty memberships including nomination, enrolment and fulfilment.

  • Sales indoor support

    • Assist the global accounts team to prepare performance figures, sales reports and sales pitch presentations.

Requirements

  • University degree holder

  • Minimum 3 years' working experience in marketing and communications. Working in airline and air freight industry is an advantage.

  • Excellent writing, editing, proofreading skills including feature and news articles, press releases, web content, print collateral in both English and Chinese.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with people at all levels.

  • Strong analytical and numerical capabilities.

  • Highly motivated, creative and detail oriented.

  • A team player willing to accept responsibility, and able to work under pressure and meet deadline.

  • PC literate with proficiency in Microsoft Words, Excel (proficiency in Excel an advantage), Chinese typing, Powerpoint and Photoshop.
