Role Introduction

Reports to: Performance & Rewards Manager

The jobholder is accountable for supporting the Performance and Rewards Manager in the development and execution of total rewards and performance philosophies and strategies, frameworks and policies. Primary responsibilities include managing various employee benefits programmes, developing and managing pay structures, job evaluation activity, managing compensation survey and benefits benchmarking processes for the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the development, implementation, analysis and administration of total rewards programmes
  • Act as subject matter expert for all rewards activities
  • Analyse airline compensation and benefits practices against the market
  • Support the service delivery associated with various employee benefits programmes including but not limited to flexible benefits, medical, retirement schemes, insurances, housing, education etc
  • Manage relationships stakeholders with external vendors (e.g. insurance companies, housing agency etc.)
  • Support the development and communication of changes to policies and guidelines 
  • Work closely with other CoEs and HR Business Partners as required in the initiation, review, development and implementation of benefits programmes 
  • Work closely with the IT teams and colleagues in the Global Business Service Centre on improving systems performance and service delivery standards
  • Monitor regulatory changes, identifying and recommending necessary changes
  • Keep abreast of market developments and industry trends in employee rewards programmes and how they drive effective behaviour
Requirements

  • A degree in HR Management or related discipline
  • 5 years’ relevant experience in HR / Compensation & Benefits / Reward teams in multinational company 
  • Well versed with common HR practices and sound knowledge of employment ordinances, ideally with good understanding of employment ordinances across multiple countries worldwide
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in both English and Cantonese
  • Strong excel skills (e.g. vlook up, pivot tables etc.) and experience using statistical modelling software advantageous 
  • Experience working with market-based pay structures
  • Experience in conducting salary survey and reward analytics
  • Strong relationship management and influencing skills
  • Strong business acumen and change orientation
  • Excellent time management, planning and organising skills
