Role Introduction

Reports To: Global Sales Strategy and Enablement Manager

Business Plus is our B2B loyalty program designed for our global SME customers. We are looking for a dynamic, commercial and strategic sales innovator to join our Global Sales Strategy and Enablement team. The successful candidate will be tasked to drive our commercial strategy for the SME market, grow our customer base and drive revenue contribution from this important and growing segment. You will be responsible for leading a recently kick-started project over the first 12 months which will be critical to achieving these objectives. This position will work closely with sales teams and SME customers around the world to understand their needs which will lead to enhancements of the proposition and the platform. This position will lead a team and work closely with our IT and development teams to understand the commercial and technical requirements of the processes and find innovative solutions. 

The role will also be responsible for other ad hoc strategic projects relating to our B2B segments. The role therefore requires a strategic mind and commercial acumen, as well as some understanding of project management or IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with local sales teams, engage with SME customers to understand their needs, which we can feed back into the development cycle
  • Drive the commercial strategy of Business Plus or other B2B projects, devise improvements that can be delivered to the customer and to the business
  • Act as chief product owner of Business Plus, responsible for maintaining and prioritising the product backlog, developing solutions, identifying and mitigating risks, testing and collect feedback to drive further innovation
  • Manage technical and architecture design for owned platforms
  • Work with vendors and partners to define requirements and solutions for tools and training

  • Strong project management skills, experience in agile project management is a plus
  • Proven track record of ability to work with IT teams on projects of B2B / B2C online product development and delivery
  • Communication and interpersonal skills, proven ability to influence internal stakeholders as well as external clients
  • Proven commercial acumen - numerate, analytical and result-oriented
  • Fluency in written and spoken English. Proficiency in Cantonese / Mandarin would be an advantage
