Assistant Manager Global Incentives & GSA

Role Introduction

Reports to: Global Business Development Manager

Implement and drive incentive strategy to support revenue generation and productivity improvement while managing a viable cost of sales; and to drive sales resource optimisation and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage incentive budget on a global level
  • Roll out incentive model and negotiation of Points of Sale budget for sales incentives
  • Responsible for incentive management through regular reporting and performance review
  • Evaluate Cost of Sales (COS) and Return of Investments (ROI) and devise strategy to improve value of incentives being remunerated to agencies
  • Mine incentive performance data to identify sales development opportunities with key stakeholders
  • Enforce correct tracking of all incentives
  • Devise and develop incentive model design and future automation

General Sales Agents (GSA)
  • Provide guidance to ports on General Sales Agents (GSA) infrastructure, active support in the vendor and subsequent strategic supplier management to ensure appointed GSA delivers long term value and adheres to CX policies, as well as exiting arrangements for terminating GSAs
  • Manage and assess GSA performance for annual channel target setting and agreement renewal negotiation
  • Manage GSA credit and legal risk, and provide support and guidance to GSA Control Offices on court case preparation and other legal compliance matters
  • Liaise with multiple internal departments including GSA (General Sales Agent) Control Offices Revenue Management, Finance, IT and Compliance offices to successfully manage the above areas
  • Participate in HQ analytics-related projects (if any) from project initiation/design, requirements collection, data validation and user acceptance testing (UAT) to dashboards development and enhancements
  • Act as the key liaison person on managing analytics tools vendors and budget; coordinate/conduct end user trainings (if required)
  • Work with Global Business Development Manager on half-yearly forecasts and annual budgeting
  • Engage in ad-hoc sales development projects and studies
  • Manage and provide guidance to Global Incentives & GSA Executive to assist with the above

  • University degree (preferably in related disciplines) with minimum 5 years' of working experience
  • Good understanding of reporting/analytics and business development tools usage
  • Strong analytical skills and be able to present insights to different audiences
  • Results driven with proven ability to influence internal/external stakeholders
  • Knowledge of SQL/Alteryx and/or visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, QlikView,
    QlikSense) is an advantage
  • Experience in GSA management or market development a plus
  • Willingness to travel
