Assistant Manager Employer Branding & Talent Community Management

Reports to: Employer Branding & Talent Community Manager

Department: People (PPL)

The jobholder is accountable for contributing to project associated with the employer branding of Cathay Pacific and Cathay Dragon across all talent attraction channels, and for ensuring our candidate and onboarding processes contribute to a world-class, signature experience for both airlines. In addition, the jobholder will support the design of off-boarding and alumni strategies and activities to ensure our reputation is pro-actively managed for those who choose to leave our airlines. The jobholder is also accountable for supporting the development of a strong talent pipeline through working on discrete global, regional and local talent sourcing, segmentation and talent community management strategies as directed. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Employer Branding and Talent Community Manager to ensure employer branding strategies are in place for all employee groups globally, aligned with our Employee Value Proposition
  • Support the execution of a talent community management strategy for Cathay Pacific and Cathay Dragon, targeting specific employee groups
  • Develop creative strategies to market and attract talent
  • Develop and deliver targeted marketing campaigns to attract talent to key roles
  • Lead the execution of an annual calendar of external talent acquisition events and campaigns (including job fairs and social media campaigns)
  • Work with manager and TA colleagues on the design of a high impact candidate experience with a focus on a best-in-class execution at every touch point
  • Support the development of a signature pre-boarding and onboarding experience as required
  • Support the development of a signature off-boarding process and ultimately the development of an alumni strategy as required
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of the career site and onboarding platform

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Human Resources, Communications or Business 
  • Minimum 5 years HR, Talent Acquisition, Training or marketing experience
  • Experience creating and executing strong candidate and employee experiences
  • Previous experience or exposure to employment branding, talent market mapping, designing on-boarding programmes etc. is advantageous
  • Recruitment systems (ATS) experience advantageous
  • Experience developing talent attraction strategies, utilising social media and LinkedIn advantageous
  • Strong interpersonal / listening, customer service and collaboration skills required
  • Excellent written and oral English communication skills, Chinese advantageous
  • High drive with excellent time management and organisational
  • Able to occasionally work on weekends. Some travelling is also required
