Role Introduction

Reports to: Employee Engagement Manager

As a delivery-focused individual and creative thinker, you will work with the Engagement and Events team to execute engagement strategies, campaigns and events to improve the employee experience and drive engagement across our varied employee groups globally – creating a positive work environment and in turn influencing customer satisfaction and our business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the Employee Engagement team to develop and execute a global engagement annual calendar of activities
  • Plan, execute and manage annual and adhoc employee engagement programmes and activities
  • Manage our ‘Cathay Club’ programme of activities including social, sports and wellbeing initiatives
  • Implement our Cathay speaker series, lunch and learn programme to bring our people together for knowledge sharing and insights
  • Play a key role in supporting, organising and implementing our leadership events
  • Assist in creating, planning and managing other high-profile company events and create experiences for target audiences
  • Co-ordinate our employee engagement and recognition programmes, including our annual awards and long service awards
  • Lead discrete engagement projects and support other major programmes of work as required
  • Keep on top of the latest event and engagement trends, technologies and innovations in the employee experience space
  • Evaluate and prepare report for events and initiatives against clear objectives and metrics, reporting on outcomes

  • A degree holder with at least 5 years' experience in internal communications, event management or employee engagement
  • Strong project-management experience
  • Experience designing and executing large employee events, (business and social)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Vendor / agency management experience
  • Budget management experience
  • Genuine passion for improving employee engagement and creating memorable engagement events and campaigns
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Ability to multi-task and handle stress and pressure
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English. Cantonese advantageous
