Assistant Manager E-Platform Procurement

Reports to: E-Platform & Strategic Procurement Manager  

Department: Procurement & Aircraft Trading (APD)

Reporting to the E-Platform & Strategic Procurement Manager  , this position is responsible for assist to develop and manage Procurement ePlatfrom to the Procurement & Aircraft Trading (APD) teams. You will be responsible for a variety of ePlatform development and enhancement projects, liaising with service provider and internal stakeholders to achieve project objectives. This role requires providing system maintenance and user enquiry support as daily operational support to APD teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist to E-Platform & Strategic Procurement Manager  to manage and develop the assigned system projects
  • Manage and provide maintenance support for Procurement e-Platform system
  • Provide Procurement e-Platform guidance and training to end user
  • Understand business needs, summaries into requirements and create clear specifications for e-Platform development
  • Work directly with Compliance and Change Manager to ensure the system can meet with company-wide policy and process
  • Work directly with Service Provider on build, configuration, testing and deployment for the system projects
  • Lead change management and communications for project rollout
  • Proactively identify and flag issues for action
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope
  • Prepare presentation deck and present project status updates to senior management as required
  • Work closely with different teams of APD and across the company.


  • University Graduate.  Business, Finance, IT, or Procurement related degree is advantageous
  • Experience with procurement systems including but not limited to: Ariba Sourcing, Ariba Contract Management, Ariba Supplier Information and Performance Management, Ariba Spend Vis, Ariba Guided Buying and SAP S4
  • Advanced skills in PowerPoint, Excel and analytic tools
  • Experience with procurement fundamentals and the procurement lifecycle, including sourcing and contracting would be an advantage
  • Prior project management experience will be an advantage
  • Good stakeholder management and interpersonal skills is essential
