Role Introduction

Reports to: Airport Operations and CLC Standards Manager

The job holder is responsible for the quality control and the performance audit program for airport ops globally. He/ She will also be responsible for operations safety communications and occurrence investigations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Quality Assurance (GSORM/QA) programme of airport operations, Centralised Load Control (CLC)
  • Participate in related safety forums, e.g. Operations Ramp Safety Action Group (ORSAG), Airline Safety Review Committee (ASRC) etc
  • Responsible for representing Airport Services in all occurrence investigations includes identifying root causes, analysing issues and data, and determining recommended actions
  • Develop and communicate appropriate reports, share case studies and operational learnings
  • Participate in operational improvement initiatives and projects
  • Conduct and support port audits
  • Liaise with regional airport coordinators on port specific process improvements
  • Develop and communicate appropriate reports and share case studies and operational learnings

  • Liaise with Assistant Manager Regional Airports and Support on port specific process improvements
  • Deputise Airport Operations and CLC Standards Manager when necessary

  • Minimum 5 years in airport operations, including ramp handling
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Project management or project coordinating skills
