Role Introduction

Reports To:Head of Procurement Operations and Development

This position will be responsible for the definition of the sourcing strategies for fuel uplift in Hong Kong and the outports and for leading the supplier relationship management process.


Key Responsibilities

  • Define and implement the fuel infrastructure commercial engagement strategy for Hong Kong International Airport and Outports.
  • Conduct market analysis and identify trends that may have positive or negative impacts on the company.
  • Define the strategy to restructure the current procurement operating model by automating and offshoring transactional purchasing tasks and by increasing the team’s focus on strategic sourcing activities
  • Drive high performance culture and standards among the Procurement and Aircraft Trading (APD) community.

  • 5 years' relevant experience.
  • University graduate in related discipline.
  • Procurement and Category Management experience is essential.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements and basic contract law.
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Ability to inspire, and build trust and respect among the APD community.
  • Excellent people skills; including the ability to negotiate and influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to define and implement strategies.
  • Performance management skills.
  • Approachable and decisive.
