Accounting Officer

Department: Financial Services

Reports to: Accountant

The Corporate Accounting section of the Financial Services Department provides summary & detailed financial analysis, treasury back office operation, treasury accounting and management reporting covering significant and complex corporate transactions. We are looking for high caliber accounting expertise to join the team to provide treasury back office and accounting support.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support treasury activities reporting
  • Prepare bank reconciliations
  • Update records of Money Market transactions in treasury system (SAP TRM)
  • Prepare back office operations for Money Market contracts
  • Prepare ad hoc payments when required
  • Prepare annual, interim, forecast and budget schedules for Treasury transactions
  • Work with other team members and generate control reports to ensure consistent external and internal reporting of company and group reports
  • Perform ad hoc assignments as and when required

Requirements:

  • Diploma or above in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
  • HKCEE standard with a pass in English (Syll B) or grade 2 in English with minimum 2 years accounting experience
  • Knowledge of Money Market product is preferred but not essential
  • Organized, committed, responsible, keen attention to detail
  • Able to manage changing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Strong in MS Office applications
  • Customer-oriented with polished interpersonal and communication skills
  • SAP experience a plus
