Reports to: Corporate Reporting Manager

Department: Financial Services

The Accountant will play a pivotal role in the Corporate Reporting Team in the provision of summary & detailed financial analysis, and insightful statutory and management reporting for shareholders & directors

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the month-end close process, finalizing journal entries and tax calculations
  • Ensure timely and accurate production of monthly management reports including consolidating  data from various sources for meaningful variance and other analysis
  • Prepare revenue, cost and other operational analysis
  • Determine appropriate accounting treatment for transactions in accordance with accounting standards and associated reporting hierarchies
  • Provide advice on a variety of technical accounting and business issues
  • Reconcile different report presentations
  • Work collaboratively with wider FIN team members in aligning information for consistent external and internal reporting of company and group reports
  • Support in the production of interim and annual financial statements, audit supporting schedules and review
  • Assist in the preparation of analyst & investor presentation slides
  • Assist in addressing queries from auditors
  • Coach, guide and review work of team members
  • Perform ad hoc assignments as and when required


  • Qualified Accountant (CPA or equivalent) with audit experience from internationally recognized audit firms
  • Minimum 4 years relevant accounting experience with at least 2 years post-qualification experience in a supervisory role
  • Degree in accounting or related discipline
  • Strong leadership qualities with effective problem solving skills and an analytical mind
  • Exceptional work ethic, strong desire to learn, ability to multitask, and attention to detail
  • Able to manage changing priorities, work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; communication and presentation
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and knowledge of SAP will be advantageous
