Training and Reassignment Officer (2-Year Contract)
Role Introduction
Reports to: Assistant Manager Training and Reassignment
As a Training and Reassignment Officer, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth crew operations and effective communication across key teams. You’ll work closely with the Crew Operation team and Scheduling and Planning team to support roster production and manage dynamic changes.
You’ll also coordinate updates to the operating plan and handle crew reassignments post-roster publication. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence operational efficiency, support crew readiness, and contribute to the seamless execution of flight schedules. Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining close liaison with Crew Planning, Crew Scheduling, Flying Training, and Crew Operations to support smooth roster production and manage changes post-publication
- Generating and distributing reports from rostering and tracking systems to relevant stakeholders
- Coordinating and conducting analysis related to training and reassignment activities
- Projecting detailed training lines for the current and upcoming schedule months, with regular updates on training requirements
- Supporting long-term cockpit crew training planning and coordination.
- Translating training plans and actual events into actionable crew rosters and training lines
- Maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge to assist the Training and Reassignment Specialist and ensure consistent process delivery.
- Reporting system issues to the Rave team and assisting with system testing and trial runs
Requirements
- Tertiary education, preferably in aviation-related disciplines
- Solid understanding of Flight Time Limitations, Conditions of Service, Rostering Guidelines, and flight crew training operations
- Strong command of both spoken and written English
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams
- Capable of working independently and making sound decisions under pressure, while also thriving in a team environment
- Well-developed planning and organizational skills to manage complex scheduling and training requirements
- Prior experience in an airline operational setting is highly desirable; experience in crew resourcing is a definite advantage
