Procurement Centre of Excellence Assistant Manager – Compliance & Performance(2-Year Contract)

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance and deliver clear, actionable dashboards, reports, and presentations, translating data into meaningful insights for category teams, procurement leadership, and senior management.
- Leverage automation and AI-driven tools to streamline reporting processes, improve data accuracy, and reduce manual effort.
- Proactively identify compliance risks and gaps, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Communicate business insights (g. spend analytics, procurement benefits, purchasing channels) to identify trends, patterns, risks and opportunities.
- Manage and optimise analytics platforms (e.g. SAP Spend Control Tower, Ariba Spend Visibility, reporting tools), ensuring effective data integration, enrichment and classification.
- Drive adoption and capability by training procurement teams on analytic tools, use of dashboards and data in decision making.
- Lead and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives across procurement compliance and performance.
- Collaborate across teams to address compliance issues, promote best practices, and influence data-driven behaviours.
- Support the regular review and enhancement of Procurement Policy and Procedures.
- Support or lead PCOE strategic initiatives and transformation projects including digitalisation and automation efforts.
- Ensure full consistency and alignment to the organisational standards, procurement policies, and S2P processes.
Requirements
- Degree holder
- 5+ working experience on compliance, reporting and analysis.
- Hands-on experience with the procurement systems (e.g. SAP, SAP Spend Control Tower, Ariba Upstream, Ariba Spend Visibility, Ariba Guided Buying).
- Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g. Power-BI, SAP Analytics Cloud), strong proficiency in Excel and data modelling.
- Familiarity with automation tools, AI-driven analytics, or digital transformation programmes.
- Knowledge of procurement lifecycle (sourcing, contracting, S2P processes) is an advantage.
- Compliance awareness and understanding of governance frameworks is desirable.
- Project management experience and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Good communication, stakeholder management and interpersonal skills is essential.
- High attention to detail, strong ownership, and disciplined follow-through on deliverables.
- Logical, structured, and data-driven mindset with a strong focus of continuous improvement, innovation, and automation.
